Thank you for stopping by! I hope you found something that will make your lashing life easier🫶.

I want to let you in on a secret….YOU are the reason I started this business.

When I started lashing in 2012, I was frustrated with the quality of products I was using. I couldn't find a product that was consistent, and I was frustrated with the customer service of these companies.

My glue wasn't holding.

My lashes weren't holding their curl.

My tweezers weren't gripping (hello-you have one job!)

I was frustrated and so were my clients.

So I took matters into my own hands and started my own brand💁🏽‍♀️

But let's back up a minute to when I started lashing.

My husband and I were broke and living paycheck to paycheck.

We wanted to have a family and I knew that I wanted more for my kids than what I had growing up. My family struggled emotionally and financially. My parents both struggled with addiction, and we often visited the food bank for our basic necessities.

I didn't want that for my kids. So their future became my motivation.

I started lashing from my living room in 2012 while holding down a full-time job as a dental assistant. I had my first daughter in 2014 and did my best to juggle being a first-time mom and business owner.

My first lashing clients were so awesome-they were totally cool with my daughter hanging out in her bouncy chair beside me while I lashed in my kitchen! In fact, I still have some of those same clients 12 years later🩷.

When my second daughter came in 2016, I quit my full-time job and pursued lashing full time. I started my product line in 2018 while pregnant with my third daughter. My lash products were taking up every spare inch in my house, and I was hand-delivering products to my clients to get the word out about my new product line.

My business was growing, and I needed a bigger space, so in 2019 I rented a 10x10 room at a local salon. I quickly grew out of that space and really needed help, so I joined forces with my friend Brittany, and together we opened The Beauty Block.

It was our dream to open a one-stop beauty shop for all things lashes and brows. We also wanted a space where I could showcase my products and where lash artists could come and hand test them.

Words cannot express how proud I am of the space that we created. Our husbands spent hours bringing our dream to life and I could not be happier with how it turned out🥰.

Between us, we now have 9 employees and 2 contractors. I have a beautiful space to work and display my products. We also have a dedicated space for training, which makes it easier to have more classes!

Lashin' Out is more than just lash products. It's a testament to what you can accomplish with hard work and determination. I wanted a better future for my family, and I worked hard to make it happen.

Being an indigenous woman comes with unique challenges. I used to be ashamed to be indigenous-but I’ve learned to embrace who I am. I am passionate about reaching out to indigenous entrepreneurs and want to do everything I can to support this community.

I want to show my daughters that we can accomplish great things, no matter where we come from. We have the privilege of being part of the indigenous community, and I want them to see how special that is.

I believe that women entrepreneurs need to work together to help each other succeed. Lashin’ Out is a community of women from all walks of life that are helping each other succeed in their lashing businesses.

As I said at the outset, YOU were my motivation for starting Lashin' Out. I wanted to provide quality products and create a space where entrepreneurs could come together to support each other through continuing education and mentorship.

Learning how to lash is only the beginning. The hard part is what comes after...

...setting up your lash room

...getting clients

...keeping clients

...perfecting different techniques

...getting faster

…mastering retention

…understanding how to use different products

We can't do this alone. We need to support and help each other get to the next level of business.

So, if you are

...a mom

...a recent high-school graduate

...in a job that you hate

...looking for a job that gives you the freedom to choose your own hours

...searching for a community of hardworking, driven women

You've come to the right place.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Your support means the world.

xoxo
